How it all began:

“It all started in Rockwall. I graduated nursing school and had my first job interview in Rockwall, Tx. As most first interviews go, I didn’t get the job. I was walking out to my car not feeling my best when I hear “Hey!! How did your interview go?!” Feeling defeated, I broke the news to this handsome guy yelling at me in the parking lot and all I kept thinking was “great, he must have heard my horrible interview skills.” To my surprise, after breaking my bad news he asked me out on a date! Fast-forward falling in love and three years later we went exploring in Sedona, Arizona. We had been a few times and loved wondering up to the top of Cathedral Rock. After being in Sedona for a few days I kept asking when he wanted to hike to our favorite look out and I kept getting a “let’s wait.” The last morning of our trip we woke up early to get a head start on our last adventure, Cathedral Rock. After a strenuous trek up the red boulder we finally got to relax and watch the sunrise. It was in that moment that Scott grabbed my hand and asked me to be his wife. It was such a special moment that brought nothing but happy tears to my eyes. A year after we got engaged we bought our first home in Rockwall. The town we met in will be the town we say our vows and spend our happily ever after in.” -Brooke
