I just love this couple and their sweet story! Katy and Jeff knew each other in high school, but were only acquaintances.  According to him, “she was too cool for him.” He was on the swim team and would bring her swim caps from meets. After high school, they went off to  separate colleges and lost touch. Years later back in Dallas, they were both playing in a Spring softball league, and they happened to play each other. Katy recognized Jeff and went home and looked him up on Facebook. After reuniting on Facebook, she eventually asked him to hang out. He is a huge fan of the Stars, so it was only fitting that he took her to a game for their first date. The rest is history from there!

Jeff has a very lively personality, which fits perfectly with Katy’s. The wedding day was really smooth and full of tons of fun and laughter. As you will notice, Jeff’s dog Freda is a big part of their lives. He played a very special role of ring bearer and it was such a sweet moment that brought the crowd to giggles.
