There is much to be said about couples that are destined to be together and Caitlin and Cameron are no exception to that rule. Early in their college lives a mutual friend had called the both of them trying to arrange a blind date. In that moment it never panned out yet somehow three years later they met on their own accord and the rest is history. Caitlin and Cameron met at Texas State at the Green Parrot. What you may not know is that the first thing Cameron ever said to Caitlin was I love you by gesturing it in sign language from across the room. Caitlin being the sweet, kind, compassionate Caitlin we all know was taken up by the gesture and offered him a seat next to her and a slice of the pizza she had just ordered…..now this is where the destiny part really comes in…Cameron, in what turned out to be the strangest yet luckiest decision ever, turned the offer down and said “eww I don’t like pizza”…first off I don’t know who doesn’t like pizza and secondly I don’t know what type of guy turns down free food from a girl as beautiful as Caitlin. Yet somehow in their bizarre first meeting Caitlin saw something in Cameron she couldn’t resist and he saw something in her that wouldn’t allow them to be apart. Seven years and 3 days after they met, they came together at this Dallas wedding at Big Sky Event Hall to pledge their lives to each other.
“All I can say, is that working with Adria is a non-negotiable. She is phenomenal. Not only is her work fantastic, but she has the most positive and calming presence. Not once did she make me feel stressed or overwhelmed. She was prompt and organized and had such an eye for all of the great shots!! I couldn’t have pictured working with anyone else….she really was such a blessing to us!!” – Caitlin
Need a Wedding Venue for Your Day??
Big Sky Event Hall is a wedding photographer’s dream! It is gorgeous from every angle, and anytime of day! During the day the open fields are perfect for natural light photography, and at night the lighting makes for some serious romantic wedding photography! Oh, and let’s not forget how the ceremony site on the water makes for perfect wedding ceremony photos!! I loved that most of the reception and dancing was done outside on the patio…everyone seemed to feel more relaxed and had so much fun on the dance floor! If you’re looking for a Dallas wedding venue, definitely make a stop here!!
Need a Florist for Your Wedding Day?
Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shoppe was such a pleasure to work with, and their flowers are an absolute dream!! Caitlin went very simple with the flowers for the centerpieces, but they made it look so beautiful! If you head to their website you’ll see that their flowers have been featured with Style Me Pretty (one of the TOP wedding blogs out there), and many more! This just shows how talented they are, and you won’t be disappointed! We loved working with Lizzie Bee’s!
Looking for a Wedding Cake or Bakery?
Annie’s Culinary Creations did a BEAUTIFUL job! I can say the cake and cupcake table was so much fun to look at (not just because I was drooling over all of that sugar, but because it was impeccable)! If you head to their website you’ll see right off the bat that they have won many awards for being a top vendor, and now I know why…because everything was SO delicious!! I know who I’m calling the next time I need a cake!!
